After factory workers go on strike in 1977 France, Suzanne takes over from her husband at running the business. And she does it with great skill, although she provokes a lot of family and romantic drama. Potiche is an exquisite and funny film, full of absurdity and melodrama owed to the impeccable acting of Catherine Deneuve, alongside other French cinema greats such as Fabrice Luchini, Karine Viard, Gérard Depardieu and more. A classic to keep revisiting more and more.
