The Franco-British-Irish contemporary music programme Diaphonique has opened its 2026 Call for Projects, inviting ensembles, organisations and composers based in France, the United Kingdom and Ireland to submit proposals for new collaborative projects.

  • Deadline: 17 May 2026

Founded in 2010, Diaphonique supports the creation and international circulation of contemporary music by fostering artistic exchanges between the three countries. The programme funds commissions, concerts, tours, residencies and educational initiatives, helping artists and institutions develop ambitious cross-border collaborations.

Since its inception, Diaphonique has supported more than 130 projects and over 150 new commissions, working with hundreds of composers and performers across the three countries. Supported artists and collaborators have included composers such as Éliane Radigue, Betsy Jolas and George Benjamin, as well as ensembles and institutions including lovemusic collective and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Applications for the 2026 edition are open from 13 March to 17 May.

Full eligibility criteria and application guidelines are available on the Diaphonique website, where applicants can submit their proposal online.

To support prospective applicants, an online information session will be organised on Zoom in April, offering an opportunity to learn more about the programme and ask questions about the application process. Further details, including the registration link, will be announced soon on the Diaphonique website and social media channels.
