Award winning South Asian dance institution, Arunima Kumar Dance CIC, presents Aatman – Being human, a celebratory showcase of colourful Indian classical dance performances in Kuchipudi style by children and adults from diverse communities followed by a workshop for all.

About the Arunima Kumar Dance Company


Arunima Kumar dance CIC is one of Britain’s most celebrated, award winning Kuchipudi dance institutions. Led by Artistic director, Arunima, a versatile dancer, teacher, choreographer, producer and strong advocate for Diversity and Inclusion in Arts & culture, it is Britain’s largest Kuchipudi institution with over 3000 performances in 50 countries and developing over 200 students across 5 countries.


This event is part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival taking place from 15 to 16 June in south Kensington.
