In Conversation with Bouchra Khalili

On the occasion of French Moroccan artist Bouchra Khalili’s first UK solo exhibition at The Mosaic Rooms in London, the French Institute presents a special screening of Ali au pays des merveilles (1976), the newly restored experimental film by Algerian filmmaker Djouhra Abouda, co-directed with Alain Bonnamy. Shot on 16mm, the film sharply portrays the daily realities of immigrant workers in 1970s France.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Bouchra Khalili.
