Talks

Join acclaimed novelist and president of the Académie Goncourt, Philippe Claudel, who will be presenting his latest novel, Wanted, published by Stock in 2025.

In Wanted, a burlesque dystopia with the feel of a modern western, the author Philippe Claudel playfully stages characters inspired by Trump, Musk and Putin. With his incisive prose, he exposes the excesses of a hyperpower that has spiralled out of control.

Philippe Claudel will be in conversation with Arnaud de la Grange, UK and Ireland correspondent for Le Figaro, and writer.

After this talk, Philippe Claudel will join Arnaud de la Grange, president of the jury, to proclaim the winner of this year’s Choix Goncourt UK, organised by the Higher Education and Research department of the French Embassy.
