Embark on a musical journey celebrating the linguistic and cultural diversity of our continent and beyond.

Presented on European Day of Languages, the recital will feature a music repertoire from across Europe and Asia and will give the opportunity to explore a myriad of languages from around the world, from the gentle melodies of Japan to the captivating rhythms of Spain, the poetic ballads of France, and many more.

Alumna of the Paris Conservatoire, mezzo-soprano Axelle Saint-Cirel is the 2023 Winner of the Voix des Outre-mer Singing Competition organised at the Bastille Opera. Alumna of the Paris and Lyon Conservatories, pianist Mao Hayakawa is a laureate of the Young Talent Association. As a duo, Axelle and Mao performed at the 2023 Festival Saint-Denis and won the Neuchâtel Prize during the 2023 International Melodie Competition in Gordes.
