Over a six-decade career, the late Claudia Cardinale starred in more than 100 films, including many classics of Italian and French cinema. This season will explore some of her most emblematic roles from the blooming Angelica in Visconti’s The Leopard, the enigmatic Claudia in Federico Fellini’s 8 ½ to feisty characters in classic Westerns, such as Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in the West and Les Pétroleuses in which she forms a formidable duo with Brigitte Bardot.
