From 17 to 21 March

This initiative launched by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, in support of the National Consortium for Languages Education, a Department for Education programme aimed at promoting foreign modern language learning in England, will offer students from 20 state schools the opportunity to take part in a series of activities promoting the French language.

In one week, over 400 Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students from 20 state schools will take part in the workshops organized by the Institut français. This year’s activities will allow students to explore Claude Monet’s work through a VR experience and an artwork creation, to engage in a team game on the oceans in the context of the upcoming UN conference to be held in Nice in June and to discover a French animated short-movie.

In 2025, the roadshow will stop in 4 locations: Dereham, Lincoln, Solihull and Portsmouth.
