Storytelling and theatre plays in French: another way to familiarise your kids with the French language, without leaving London

We are happy to offer Baby and Kids French Tales on weekends (except during bank holidays) at the Children’s Library.

Our tales involve interactive games, songs and music whereby our professional storytellers help babies and young kids learn the French language, with stories appropriate to their age and level.

Baby French Tales are aimed at children aged between 0-3 years old.

Kids French Tales are aimed at children between 3-5 years old.

Once a term, come along and discover our educational and entertaining theatre performances in the Ciné Lumière.

These are specially adapted for primary school children wishing to progress with the French language and French culture.

Au Théâtre for a Weekend bilingual plays are aimed at children aged between 5-11 years old. Our professional troupe performs a specially themed  treat for your children.

Videos of the plays are available on Culturethèque, our free digital library.

Check our full activities programme and book your tickets online or call us at 020 7871 3515. Early reservations are recommended. Concessionary rates are available if you are a member of the Institut français.
