Olymp’kit provides a clear and comprehensive list of resources, teaching material and games to help teachers integrate the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the classroom in a fun way.

 

Athleticus” with Arte TV

The European channel Arte offers free access to its streaming platform in which can be found a Athleticus, a series of 30 short videos depicts wild animals competing in sports events (winter, summer and urban sports). The animals’ characteristics allows for comical and eccentric situations. These humoristic and light-hearted videos will help young pupils to easily discover sport vocabulary and talk about Olympic disciplines.

 

Le français facile avec RFI

The international radio news network RFI offers free access to age and level resources to teach French language. Listening and grammar exercises linked to the current news are available and can be downloaded. An easy way to learn new vocabulary on the Olympics coming up!

 

TV5Monde

The free access Francophone TV Channel and streaming platform TV5Monde offers a wide range of resources related to sports and the Olympic Games. More than just videos, the website offers ready to use teaching material and self-corrected exercises on the “Apprendre avec TV5Monde” section.

The CNOSP’s website offerss resources to help carry out educational projects in French on the topic of sport, the Olympic games and its values, through different subjects (i.e. mathematics, sport, history, art…), for your pupils aged 3 to 15. Support materials are available on this website for teachers and students to help set up projects, as well as examples of projects from beginning to end.
