BookBlast Translation Book Club with Véronique Tadjo at Hatchards

On 13 October 2025, the BookBlast Translation Book Club will host acclaimed Franco-Ivorian author Véronique Tadjo at Hatchards, Piccadilly, to discuss her novel In the Company of Men (HopeRoad, 2021). The book offers a moving narrative set against the aftermath of the 2014–2016 Ebola outbreak in West Africa through a series of interwoven narratives.

Curated and moderated by Georgia de Chamberet, the BookBlast Translation Book Club is a monthly gathering which brings together readers, translators and professionals from the publishing industry to engage with world literature in translation and reflect on its cultural resonance.
