Manolo’s passionate love for Lola goes beyond reason and drives him into a spiral of trouble, jealousy, alcohol and poignant flamenco songs that manifest his disgrace. Carlos Serrano de Osma’s film gathers on screen two of the most famous artists of the time in Spain, who were also a couple in real life. The Surealist side of the film provoked conflicts in cinemas at the time of its release, but it also made of it a cult reference movie forever.
