Experience an evening of powerful storytelling as the 2026 winning films of the Oceanic Global Short Film Festival are unveiled in London for the first time at Ciné Lumière during London Climate Action Week.

An official activity of the UN Ocean Decade, the festival is now in its fourth edition and continues to bring together culture, storytelling, and impact on a global stage.

Under this year’s theme, Films That Awaken New Depths, the programme features four award-winning short films spanning three categories: Human Connection, Living Systems, and Discovery. From the ice of Greenland to the humpbacks of Tonga, from the Senegalese coastline to a reimagined journey of wild salmon, each story invites audiences to reconnect with the ocean through awe, curiosity, and human connection.

Selected by an international jury including Sylvia Earle, James Honeyborne, David Maisel, Xiye Bastida, and Cliff Kapono, each story invites audiences to reconnect with the ocean through awe, curiosity, and human connection.

Following the screening, join a conversation with filmmakers and special guests, and connect with a community of creatives, scientists, and ocean advocates.
