The Dog Who Travelled by Train

Sat 09 Mar

One of the top three most popular Polish films in Polish cinemas last year, this is a heartwarming happy-ending story for the whole family. Adapted to modern times, it is based on the adventures of real-life dog Lampo in 1950s Italy, who was made famous by Roman Pisarski’s book. The arrival of Lampo transforms the life of Zuzia, whose father works on the railways. Struggling with a heart condition, her spirits lift with the friendship of this special white Swiss shepherd dog, but jealousy and small mindedness put her health at risk.
