Through yearly initiatives and public events gathering French and British professionals, we support the visibility and production of the best of French creation on British stages.

Encompassing theatre and dance, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni works together with British institutions and festivals to ensure the visibility of French artists in the UK. En Scène! and Cross-Channel Theatre, its two flagship initiatives, are complemented by a rich in situ programme of public events: panel discussions, one-to-one conversations enabling professionals to meet and impulse new projects together.

 

Cross-Channel Theatre

The Cross Channel Theatre programme builds bridges between Francophone performing arts professionals and British stages by supporting the translation, production, and promotion of contemporary French-language theatre.
