  • Objectives
    Socialise and practise conversation in French whilst enlarging your knowledge of current affairs in a relaxed and friendly environment at Gazette Brasserie. 
  • Learning approach
    Every month at the café of the Institut français, enjoy a complimentary drink and canapé as you go through a selection of articles from the French press. Guided by our expert, enhance your understanding of the French language and Culture! Ramp up your fluency and confidence across various topics such as politics, economy, art, tech or science. Engage in coached conversations and debates to further enrich your language skills.
  • Resources
    You are strongly encouraged to bring a news article on the day.
  • Tutor
    All our tutors are University trained and native speakers. With an experience over 20 years, Raphael Kopel has been working with all sorts of learners ranging from 5-year-olds to corporate executives. 
  • Suggestions
    Our students often round up their learning journey with a General French course or a Current affairs course.
